I use the ‘AddThis’ service to provide social sharing buttons to my posts, they will set a cookie if you use this service, and as you would expect the social media site you then share the page to will also track information about you. See this AddThis page for more information.
I often embed tweets or YouTube videos, should you follow any links in these then these platforms will hold information on this.
I also share links to pages on this site using shortened URLS provided by Buffer and/or Bit.ly

If you use a social network account to login then these networks will be aware that you have logged into my site. Your name, email and content of the comment or message form may be sent via e-mail to me and will be retained in a computer database on a server in the USA, however backups, including automatically generated backups may be held securely on other backup and file storage services globally and on my own personal computer equipment in the United Kingdom.
The personal information that I am storing is the minimal amount needed in order to operate a “blog comments” service. I do not use the information for any other purpose and will not contact you for any reason unless you specifically have requested me to do so.
I do not share your information with anyone else, other than for the technical operational reasons outlined above.
