#BlackFriday resulted in me trying to dodge the maddening crowds as I tried to walk through city centre Manchester at tea time. I think people must have thought a cheap games console marked the end of the world as we know it. A short cut down a side street revealed this note in a window noting the same is happening to the internet.

I guess it’s therefore rather pointless me hitting the ‘publish’ button now….
